National Poetry Day NZ

New Zealand’s National Poetry Day, Friday 22nd August, will be celebrated here in Whangarei by readings at the Old Stone Butter Factory.

A chapbook and broadsheet combination containing poems by Northland poets will be launched at the Old Library, Whangarei, on Thursday 21st August. I have two poems “Arthur driving his wife home from a shopping trip” and “My lover is a rainstorm” included in the chapbook, and one poem “a dripping tap” in the broadsheet.
